Ganado Advocates at IFSP Annual Conference 2022 Author: Ganado Advocates Published on April 7, 2022 The Institute of Financial Services Practitioners (IFSP) is organising its annual conference on 7 April, 2022 with the theme “Revitalising Financial Services – Mapping a Sustainable Path for Malta. Various practitioners and regulators in Malta will be tackling a wide range of highly relevant issues for the financial services community, including: the contribution of the financial services industry to the Maltese economy the continued relevance of international financial centres recent developments at the Malta Business Registry Malta’s tax system, and proposed EU Directives in the area of taxation the proposed Corporate Governance Code the impacts of, and outlook for Malta’s grey-listing. A number of lawyers from Ganado Advocates will be participating at the Conference. Stephen Attard will be moderating a discussion with the Malta Registrar of Companies in respect of the latest developments at the Malta Business Registry. Catherine Formosa will join a panel session discussing the proposed Corporate Governance Code from a directors’ standpoint. Anthony Cremona will join the concluding panel titled ‘Life After the Greylisting’, discussing the impact that greylisting has had and doing some ‘crystal ball gazing’ to the future following grey-listing.
