Ganado Advocates at IFSP Annual Conference 2023 Author: Ganado Advocates Published on May 18, 2023 The Institute of Financial Services Practitioners (IFSP) is organising its annual conference on the 19th of May, 2023 with the theme “Transforming Financial Services: The Time is Now!”. Various practitioners and regulators from Malta will be tackling a wide range of highly relevant issues for the financial services community, including: the Malta Business Registry’s evolution over the past year and the future challenges it faces a strategy for the Maltese financial services industry the relevance of international financial centres an update on the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) Malta’s tax system and recent international developments in the area of taxation Malta’s economic update developments in the investment funds industry and capital markets Artificial Intelligence (AI) and FinTech opportunities A number of partners from Ganado Advocates will be participating in the Conference. Stephen Attard, Partner in the firm’s Corporate Finance and Tax team, will be moderating a session with the Registrar of Companies dealing with the evolution of the Malta Business Registry over the past year, the challenges it faces in the future, and the impact which the MBR operations have on practitioners and their businesses.
