His main areas of focus include the incorporation and authorisation of, as well as the provision of ongoing legal and regulatory assistance to, collective investment schemes, investment services providers and other regulated entities. He also assists clients on other commercial law-related matters, such as the incorporation, restructuring and re-domiciliation, as well as on mergers and acquisitions, of companies and other commercial partnerships. Luigi also forms part of a dedicated practice group within the Firm which advises clients on the framework regulating the digital operational resilience of entities operating within the financial services sector (including on the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act, other applicable laws, and regulation). Luigi, from time to time, also advises clients on the anti-financial crime legal and regulatory framework applicable to financial services operators.
