CSPs and Trustees are subject persons in terms of the Prevention of Money Laundering and Funding of Terrorism Regulations (“PMLFTR”). They are therefore required to comply with, amongst others, the PMLFTR, the Implementing Procedures and any guidance issued by the FIAU. While most of the core obligations are largely applicable across all types of CSPs and Trustees, their implementation may vary depending on the type of services offered by the CSP and/or the nature of the trust.
