ESMA Guidelines on Liquidity Stress Testing Author: Ganado Advocates Published on September 9, 2020 Overview In September 2019, ESMA released a comprehensive set of guidelines on Liquidity Stress Testing relating to UCITS and AIFs and which apply to managers and depositories. The deadline for implementation of such Guidelines is 30 September 2020. The Guidelines outline detailed requirements which build further on liquidity risk management principles already imposed by the AIFMD and UCITS Directive.
