Ganado Advocates contributes to ELSA Webinars Academy Malta: Maritime Law Author: Ganado Advocates Published on August 13, 2020 Lawyers from Ganado Advocates were invited to, once again, contribute to ELSA’s webinars academy on maritime law (previously known as ELSA Summer Law School). This event, which took place between 4 and 7 August 2020, consisted of lectures dealing with a vast array of maritime law topics by professionals and academics in the field. Representing Ganado Advocates were Dr Matthew Xerri with his presentation on Ship Finance, Dr Jan Rossi presenting on Aspects of Public International Maritime Law and International Maritime Conventions and Dr Matthew Attard with his presentation on matters concerning open registries and how international maritime laws are applied in practice. This academic programme by ELSA Malta attracts law students from all around Europe who intend to familiarise themselves with the local shipping industry, Malta’s legal framework and practices from top local shipping lawyers and professionals.
