AML Screening Assistant

Working within the Compliance team, the AML Screening Assistant will be tasked with screening against Sanctions, Law Enforcements and Adverse Media. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing alerts within the ongoing screening systems
  • Assisting first line of defence with analysing hits encountered during the screening at onboarding
  • Preparing reports of true positives if findings are material and must be escalated to the Compliance Officer or the MLRO
  • Monitoring and reporting on relevant sanctions outputs
  • Maintaining customer data within the screening platforms
  • Preparing and importing customer data and exporting of screening reports
  • Assisting with performing internal audits
  • Assisting with providing training to administrative staff on screening

Skills/Expectations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on his / her own initiative and also as part of a team.
  • Have a good understanding of the Microsoft Office and Windows environment.
  • A proactive approach towards facing challenges and solving issues
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
