AML Screening Assistant
Working within the Compliance team, the AML Screening Assistant will be tasked with screening against Sanctions, Law Enforcements and Adverse Media.
Responsibilities include:
- Analysing alerts within the ongoing screening systems
- Assisting first line of defence with analysing hits encountered during the screening at onboarding
- Preparing reports of true positives if findings are material and must be escalated to the Compliance Officer or the MLRO
- Monitoring and reporting on relevant sanctions outputs
- Maintaining customer data within the screening platforms
- Preparing and importing customer data and exporting of screening reports
- Assisting with performing internal audits
- Assisting with providing training to administrative staff on screening
Skills/Expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work on his / her own initiative and also as part of a team.
- Have a good understanding of the Microsoft Office and Windows environment.
- A proactive approach towards facing challenges and solving issues
- Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
