Beppe Degiorgio to deliver a lecture on the Market Abuse Regulation at the Malta Stock Exchange Institute

Beppe Degiorgio, Senior Associate at Ganado Advocates, will be delivering the online course “Introduction to the Market Abuse Regulation”, organised by the Malta Stock Exchange, on 25 September 2026 as part of the lecture series organised by the Malta Stock Exchange Institute.

The session will provide participants with a practical introduction to the key principles of the Market Abuse Regulation, including the framework governing insider dealing, unlawful disclosure of inside information, and market manipulation.

Participants will also gain an overview of the obligations imposed on market participants, with particular focus on inside information, as well as the role of the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) in overseeing market abuse and the sanctions that may apply. Practical examples will be used throughout the session to illustrate key concepts and issues.
