Emma Attard Bondi

Emma Attard Bondi is a Trainee Advocate at Ganado Advocates and currently forms part of the Asset Finance and Leasing Department. In this role, she works closely with other members of the team in assisting with the drafting and review of security documents under Maltese law, such as mortgages, share pledges and deeds of covenants. She also assists in the review of transaction documents governed by foreign laws to ensure alignment with Maltese legal and regulatory requirements.
Emma previously formed part of the firm’s Banking, Finance and Payments Department, where she worked closely with the team in advising credit and financial institutions on a variety of regulatory and legal matters, including licensing, compliance and contractual frameworks.

Since joining the firm as a legal intern in July 2023, Emma has also formed part of the Investment Services Department, the Shipping Department, and the Private Clients Department. With the Investment Services team, she assisted with the licensing and ongoing servicing of collective investment schemes and other investment service providers. During her time with the Shipping team, she was involved in vessel registrations, company formations and liquidations, as well as a range of maritime and commercial law matters. Within the Private Clients Department, she contributed to a variety of matters relating to succession, family business structuring and general private client advisory work.
