Philip Formosa, Senior Associate at Ganado Adovcates will be participating as a speaker during an upcoming discussion taking place on 21st March at the Univerisrty of Malta, Valletta Campus. The discussion will explore the legal frameworks that safeguard creative works, with a particular focus on Maltese and EU copyright law, trademark protection and contemporary developments including artificial intelligence and intellectual property.
The session is being organised by Għaqda Studenti tal-Liġi in collaboration with Arts Council Malta and will bring together leading practitioners and academics for a practical and accessible conversation that bridges legal theory with creative practice.
Open to law students, artists, creators and anyone interested in intellectual property law, the discussion aims to encourage dialogue on the evolving legal frameworks that support and protect creative industries.
