The Directorate would like to draw the attention of all concerned that in accordance with Rule 51 of the Merchant Shipping (Maritime Labour Convention) Rules, the minimum basic wage for a calendar month of service for an able seafarer shall not be less than USD 690 on the 1 January 2026.
