GANADO Advocates to Join Business Mission to South Korea and Singapore Author: Published on April 1, 2019 Simon Schembri, Partner within GANADO Advocates’ Corporate practice, and James Farrugia, Partner within the firm’s Investment Services and Funds practice, will be joining the Maltese delegation that will be vising South Korea (Seoul) and Singapore between the 2nd and 10th of April. This business mission, organised by TradeMalta and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion, primarily aims at promoting the commercial opportunities that Malta has to offer within the virtual currencies and innovative technology space. A number of companies operating within the ICT and technology sphere, financial and legal service providers as well as Government entities will be joining this business mission. In Seoul, the delegation will be attending Deconomy 2019, a 2-day conference organised between the 4th and 5th of April that will bring together thought leaders – entrepreneurs, developers, academics, and policy makers – from all over the world to discuss the future of a distributed economy empowered by technological innovations. At this year’s conference, topics revolving around cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology will be high on the agenda. Go back
