James Farrugia to speak at the ‘Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation’ conference

The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) will be organising a full-day training conference on the 16th of November entitled ‘Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation’ (MiCA).

This event is the first of its kind and will be dedicated to exploring the regulatory landscape of cryptocurrencies and digital assets. It aims to unite experts, regulators, and policymakers to explore vital topics, including MiCA, investor protection, supervisory convergence, enforcement actions, and their impact on traditional banking and MiFID.

Partner James Farrugia will participate in a panel discussion highlighting the key challenges and opportunities posed by MiCA on MiFID firms and the traditional banking industry.
