Email Roberta Attard Roberta Attard Vcard Advocate | Malta Roberta Attard is an Advocate within Ganado Advocates’ corporate department. She regularly assists clients on matters such as company incorporations and liquidations, corporate due diligence processes as well as corporate reorganizations. She previously formed part of the Ganado Advocates’ insurance team. She assisted in the structuring and restructuring of insurance companies, mergers and acquisitions, and the corresponding due diligence processes. She also has a keen interest in financial services, company law and human rights. Her Bachelor’s Dissertation, entitled “A critical analysis of the penalty regime contemplated in the ‘Prevention of Money Laundering Act’: a human rights perspective” examines whether the administrative penalty regime under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and Prevention of Money Laundering and Funding of Terrorism Regulations breaches human rights. Prior to this, Roberta completed two summer internship programmes within the firm, one in the financial crime advisory practice group with the investment services and funds department and another within the litigation department.
