Anthony Cremona heads Ganado Advocates’ Trusts and Foundations and Private Client team as well as its AML-CFT practice. Over a 25+ year career, he has been exposed to a wide variety of situations – from setting up entire family offices for multiple strands of wealthy families, complete with the required trusts, foundations and companies, to assisting private clients with relocating to Malta or obtaining the desired freedom of movement, whether in terms of Malta’s citizenship by investment framework or its Visa programme.

Anthony lectures ‘Trusts and Foundations Law’ and ‘AML-CFT Law’ at the University of Malta and has recently also been engaged by STEP to lecture on ‘Maltese Trusts Law’ at the University of Monaco. He also examines theses and dissertations on various private client and AML-CFT topics.

Anthony, who served as Chairman of STEP Malta branch until 2020, has been re-appointed as Chairman of STEP Malta in 2024, and currently also represents the branch on STEP Europe.
