George Bugeja

George Bugeja is a Partner at Ganado Advocates, forming part of the firm’s corporate finance team. He regularly assists clients with various corporate law related matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, insolvency and pre-insolvency related matters, and general commercial law.

George also retains a special focus on energy law and has assisted clients with regulatory matters and with transactional matters (including financing) of both conventional and renewable energy projects.  He also has experience in aviation law and aircraft financing.

He completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Law (Ph.D.) degree from King’s College London in 2018, having written a thesis entitled “The Basel Accords as a Transnational Regulatory Law: A Focus on Regulatory Consistency and Domestic Embeddedness“.

George is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta and an Accredited Insolvency Practitioner.
