Sarah Aquilina

Sarah Aquilina is a Advocate and currently forms part of the Banking and Finance department at Ganado Advocates. She assists the banking team with advising credit and financial institutions on a variety of regulatory and legal matters, including licensing, compliance and contractual frameworks.

Sarah previously completed a rotation with the Asset Finance department, where she worked closely with the team to assist clients in obtaining security for shipping and aviation matters. She was involved in the financing of Maltese-registered vessels and the registration of mortgages and other security interests. She also assisted with the registration of security interests in Malta’s aircraft register in favour of lessors and financiers.

Sarah also holds an LLM from King’s College London, with a focus on Intellectual Property Law.
