Yasmine Ellul

Yasmine Ellul is an Associate within Ganado Advocates’ dispute resolution team. She assists clients across a range of industries, including the healthcare, construction, technology, financial services, and energy sectors, in civil and commercial disputes, with a particular focus on cross-border litigation, international commercial and investment arbitration, and the cross-border enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards.

Yasmine has experience acting in international arbitration proceedings conducted under the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, and Malta Arbitration Centre rules, representing both private parties and States. Her recent work includes construction disputes under the FIDIC forms of contract, technology and data-related disputes, and the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Malta.

She also regularly appears before the Maltese Superior Courts in civil and commercial matters, with experience in complex shareholder and commercial litigation, precautionary and enforcement proceedings, and interim relief in support of both domestic and foreign proceedings.

Yasmine was admitted to the Maltese bar in 2023. She holds an Advanced Master of Laws (Adv. LL.M.) in International Dispute Settlement and Arbitration from Leiden University (2024), a Master of Advocacy (M.Adv.) from the University of Malta (2022), and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) (LL.B. Hons) from the University of Malta (2021).

Yasmine is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the International Chamber of Commerce Young Arbitration and ADR Forum (ICC YAAF), the Young ICSID (World Bank), the Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG) of the LCIA, Young ITA, the International Law Association (Malta), and the Malta Chamber of Advocates.
