Accountant

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team. This role offers exposure to financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and accounting operations for Trusts and Foundations within a dynamic and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare year-end financial statements for Trusts and/or Foundations.
  • Prepare and submit Tax and VAT returns for Trusts and/or Foundations.
  • Prepare and file FATCA, CRS, and other regulatory returns.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and the Malta Tax and Customs Administration (MTCA), as required.
  • Prepare monthly and management accounts.
  • Perform account reconciliations and prepare client reports.
  • Maintain and manage the company’s financial accounting systems.
  • Assist with special projects and provide support to the finance team as required.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant holding a recognised accounting qualification.
  • Preferably 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience in an accounting or audit role.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with accounting software will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • A proactive team player with a collaborative approach and a positive attitude.
