Events & Marketing Executive
Ganado Advocates is looking to recruit an Events & Marketing Executive to join the firm’s growing Business Development & Marketing team. This role will focus on coordinating events from start to finish and providing high-level support with administrative marketing and communications tasks.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities include:
- Planning and executing internal and external events, including seminars, conferences, webinars, and third-party sponsorships.
- Managing event logistics including venue setup, speaker coordination, guest registration, catering, branding, and post-event reporting.
- Assisting with the preparation of content and rankings submissions for key legal directories and awards, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Liaising with legal publishers and event organisers to ensure effective brand visibility.
- Supporting the dissemination of legal and firm-related content across digital and print channels.
- Helping maintain a calendar of editorial opportunities, awards deadlines, and marketing activities.
- Supporting the creation of marketing collateral such as brochures, client alerts, promotional items, and internal communications material, in line with brand guidelines.
- Acting as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency in the firm’s identity across all marketing touchpoints.
- Supporting the marketing team with administrative and reporting tasks, including tracking budgets and campaign performance.
Skill-sets and Requirements:
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to work independently and under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Confident personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with legal or professional services marketing is an asset.
- Good understanding of event planning, social media, and digital marketing practices.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with design tools and CMS platforms is considered a plus.
Education & Experience:
- 2–3 years’ experience in a similar events and/or marketing role.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with legal rankings submissions and publisher liaison is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Adobe tools (Photoshop, InDesign) and CMS platforms such as WordPress is desirable.
