The Merchant Shipping Directorate draws the attention of all concerned to the latest restrictive measures adopted by the Council of the EU concerning the situation in Syria and Belarus. EU sanctions are directly applicable under Maltese law in terms of the National Interest (Enabling Powers) Act.
