Chris Grech to deliver lecture on the personal liability of company officers

Chris Grech, Associate within Ganado Advocates’ Corporate Finance team, will be delivering an online lecture, entitled Personal Liability of Company Officers, organised by Skillsmalta on the 7th of July.

The session is designed for company officers, directors and other professionals seeking a practical understanding of the circumstances in which personal liability may arise under Maltese law.

The lecture will examine the statutory duties and fiduciary obligations of company officers, liability arising from wrongful and fraudulent trading, and the civil and criminal consequences that may result from breaches of these obligations. It will also provide practical guidance on risk mitigation and compliance, helping participants better understand their responsibilities and the legal framework governing corporate decision-making.
