On 3 April, SkillsMalta hosted a webinar titled “General Principles of Company Law.”

This online seminar explored the key concepts and components of Maltese company law, highlighting the foundational principles that every practitioner should be familiar with.

Stephanie Jean Coppini, an Associate from the Corporate team at our firm, delivered the session. She discussed topics including separate legal personality and limited liability (and the exceptions thereto), the roles of directors, shareholders, company secretary and other key officers, share classes and class rights, meetings and related procedures, resolutions and minute-taking, as well as common statutory obligations.
