Malta awarded “Most favoured domicile in Europe” by Hedge Funds Review Author: Published on November 26, 2013 Malta was named as the most favoured domicile for hedge funds in the recent Hedge Funds Review’s Service Provider Rankings released earlier this month. With 22.1% of the European votes, Malta was found to be the most favoured domicile in terms of the quality of service provided by local practitioners, followed by Luxembourg (19.1%) and Ireland (17.1%). The full results of the survey can be viewed here. The Service Provider Rankings are based on an editorial survey carried out amongst single manager hedge fund or fund of hedge funds (FoHF) organisations and investors (for example, family offices, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, asset allocators) who invest into hedge funds or FoHFs.
