    HR Executive

    Working closely with HR management to support both legal professionals and administrative staff, the HR Executive will be responsible for taking ownership of specific HR functions and contributing to strategic initiatives.   Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage recruitment pipelines for support staff, including initial screenings, attending interviews with HR management and ensuring smooth execution of onboarding process.
    • Registration of employees’ engagement and termination with Jobsplus.
    • Responsibility for the recruitment process and day-to-day management of summer/seasonal workers.
    • Support HR management with the Summer Internship Programme for law students.
    • Assist with the recruitment process and onboarding of legal staff.
    • Help organise and coordinate training sessions and employee development initiatives.
    • Assist in implementing employee engagement and retention strategies.
    • Prepare HR reports and analytics for statistical purposes.
    • Provide support in performance appraisals and employee feedback procedures.
    • Review and support with implementation and maintenance of the HR Handbook, HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.
    • Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving HR-related issues in a timely and confidential manner.
    • Support management to create a positive working environment.
      Requirements:
    • Minimum of 3 years in an HR role
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, local employment law and best practices.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Familiarity with payroll systems.
    • Proficiency in HR systems.
    • Ability to maintain confidential information.
    • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field would be considered an asset

    Corporate Services Officer

    We are looking for a person to join our team supporting the firm’s clients in corporate services.  The person should have a sound knowledge of corporate matters and related registry procedures and will be expected to guide the Boards of regulated entities on such matters.  The candidate should possess diplomacy, good organisational and time management skills and be proficient in secretarial, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Responsibilities:

    • report to the chairman and often liaise with board members
    • organise and prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees and annual general meetings (AGMs)
    • take minutes, draft resolutions, and lodge required forms and annual returns with the Registry of Companies
    • follow up on actions from meetings
    • oversee policies, making sure they are kept up to date and referred to the appropriate committee for approval
    • maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors and secretaries
    • contribute to meeting discussions as and when required, and advise members of the legal, governance implications of proposed policies
    • monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action
    • liaise with external advisers, such as auditors
    Qualifications - Candidates should preferably hold a professional qualification or formal training in a relevant area of study and at least 3 years' experience in a similar role. All applications will be treated in strict confidence.
